Contrast therapy is a Hydrotherapy treatment utilizing both ice and heat in succession to one another. The key to contrast therapy is in the rapid changes produced in your circulatory system when you go from very warm modalities to very cold. The benefits include: reduced inflammation, increased circulation in congested soft tissue & scar tissue, and helps treat chronic injury to soft tissue. Using these thermal opposites is an amazing addition to any clinical massage application.
Debbie Hrycaj has been a licensed massage therapist for eleven years and a massage instructor for three years. Her passion and specialty in the massage field are deep tissue techniques and clinical applications for massage.

Thai massage is a combination of traditional massage techniques, assisted stretching and acupressure. Traditional Thai Massage is usually practiced on the floor with the client fully clothed, and without the use of oils. Thai Table Massage is an adaptation of this treatment that can be carried out on a normal massage table. Thai Table Massage can be incorporated into a massage routine and is beneficial for practitioners who may not work on the floor and for clients who may have difficulties getting down to, or up from, the floor.
Ricky Heldt, Owner of Open Lotus Wellness LLC is an IAYT Yoga Therapist, Thai Massage Instructor, Reiki Master and 500 Experienced Yoga Instructor for people new to yoga, advanced or needing adaptive yoga classes.
